Michelle enjoys exploring new places, connecting with people, their culture and food. In 2014 she photographed a cookbook while undertaking her Masters and launched The Foodie Inc to share her love of New Zealand food, wine and places to go.

A freelance marketing consultant and mentor, Michelle is passionate about marketing, building brands and delivering exceptional customer experience to drive business results.  Relocating to Hawke’s Bay in mid-2020 and with more than 20 years marketing experience across a broad range of industries from technology, food, and hospitality to retail and financial services, she works with New Zealand businesses to upskill their team, and market their products and services locally and internationally. 

Graduating with a Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism in 2018, Michelle is the Immediate Past President of Food Writers New Zealand and has been on their Executive Committee since 2017; and is a judge for the Outstanding NZ Food Producer Awards and New Zealand Effie Awards.
